QUIMPER CITY CENTRE on 5th August 2023

We've lived on and off in Quimper for 24 years but been mostly away for the last 8. I had forgotten how beautiful the city centre is, with a real feel of the Middle Ages!

The weather has been very disappointing this summer and this day was no exception. Some sun now and then but plenty of cloud and a lot of wind - but today at least no rain. Despite the less-than-perfect summer weather MANY people were lunching outside the numerous restaurants. It was all very civilised and charming - and French!
