The Ekonomy Hotel, Myeongdong

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel, about which:

• our room was very small, but more than adequate for our needs, with above all AC and a fridge, plus built-in shower-room/washbasin & toilet (and a telly we never used)
• it is in the one of the main tourist and shopping centres of Seoul
• it is right near a subway
• breakfasts comprised a choice of two cereals, various kinds of bread, boiled eggs and some ham, plus coffee or tea
• one washed up one's own dishes and cutlery
• the staff were very friendly and helpful
• being on the 16th floor meant it was quiet!
• it was extremely good value-for-money, costing just £136 for two people for 5 nights
