It snows a lot in Freudenstadt. The city is around 800m above sea level. As I write it is November 26th, 2010 and the first snow of the winter has just fallen .... but the people are used to it and the "Winterdienst" is very efficient; normally you can still get out and about by car. However, it has been known to wake up in the morning with over 1 metre of snow everywhere .... Here are a few photos from March/April 2010.
