RIQUEWIHR ......

.. is a stunning small town in Alsace. I had known for a long time about this place, but today I visited it for the first time. It is beautifully preserved: a bit touristy, but without tourists it would not look so nice. Here are some photos shown in the order that I took them. The whole area is covered with vineyards, and some can be seen on the hills surrounding the town.

I have decided to go for broke here, with a resolution of 1000 pixels high. This requires a high-resolution monitor with F11 pressed for full screen, giving a large photo to enjoy. (but you'll need broadband!!)
