This place knocked me out! It is a quite wonderful concept and execution. Kevin took me down there on the first Saturday I was in Lanzhou. It was teeming with people and there is so much to do: all kinds of sports, a kiddies' area, boat trips, stroll across the bridge, kite-flying. And all on a huge scale.

And right on the banks of the spectacular Yellow River, complete with paddle-wheel boats. The sheer number of people actively engaged in something was amazing.
