Bandia Game Reserve

some 40 km from Dakar.

These animals were all roaming freely, except for the hyena and of course the crocodiles ..... there were no big cats or elephants, but there WAS a magnificent rhino.

We had a very nice guide and drove round in our own car. There are apparently some 40 km of dirt track, but funnily enough the animals seemed to cluster together in several places, so we didn't have to go looking for them!
