Stairs carved into the rock that crown a climb of about 360 meters from Machu Picchu itself.

In some sections, the ascent is complicated by narrow sections and small steps that are eroded.

The rise time is calculated between one  hour and 90 minutes.

Only  400 tourists a day are allowed and access closes at 1:00pm, just in case.
