We visited Hiroshima in June 2019. It is today a beautiful, dynamic, thriving and exciting city - AND of course a symbol and reminder of the insanity of war and the suffering it causes.
The world changed forever at 8:15 a.m. on 6 August 1945, but mass-destruction and killing was nothing new - just more efficient from that day on.
