Freudenstadt

... is smack in the middle of the Schwarzwald at 800 metres above sea level. It is a famous "Kurort" ("care place" = health resort), where people come for rehabilitation, convalescence, rest, fresh air, fitness-training, hotels with all kinds of services: massage, heat-treatment, pedicure and so on ..... not to mention wintersports! It SNOWS a lot here!
